As the entire planet watches with fear and sorrow at the unraveling state of Japan, we wanted to share with you some of the things we at The Tattooed Heart love about Japan.

This little photo essay is dedicated to the extremely courageous people who are fighting to get the nuclear disaster under control in Fukushima. The future seems to hinge on their ability to contain the situation, and that is a truly frightening prospect.
